Day 30: Why do you love and support One Direction?
Well, where do I start?
They saved my life. No, I don’t mean they stopped me from commiting suicide or hurting myself. I mean they stopped me from being depressed. Any issues I had are gone, because of this beautiful band. I used to have terrible anxiety, to the point I passed out in school. I had to be homeschooled because of it. Now I don’t have that anxiety or fear anymore. I’m not afraid to go to highschool next year, I’m actually excited. Because of One Direction.
This band has made me laugh harder than anybody has ever made me laugh. They make me so happy, happier than I have ever been before. It’s ridiculous that I’m so attached to them, but I can’t control it. They mean so much to me. They make me smile when nobody else can, when I’m having a horrible day they make it better.
My dream is to meet them and thank them, for everything they’ve done for me.
Not only did they save my life and help me through so many things, I also love their music. I’m not into pop much anymore, and a lot of pop singers don’t have much talent, just a lot of auto tune. But One Direction isn't like that. They have a lot of talent. People don't give them enough credit, just because they're a boyband and in the pop genre doesn't mean they are all auto tune. They work so hard and they have absolutely beautiful voices. All five of them. I love their songs, but I feel like it doesn't show off their talent enough. Hopefully the new album shows their talent more in the songs.
Their personalities are so real and genuine, they are all such modest, down to earth boys. They don't let the fame go to their heads. Some celebrities get so cocky and stuck up (cough justin bieber cough) but they aren't like that. They are such funny, sweet, boys.
They genuinely love their fans. They know we're the reason they have gone so far, and they really appreciate us and do as much as they can for us. They've even said, everything they do is for the fans. They love us as much as we love them. We have a special connection with the boys that most fans don't have with their idols.
One Direction always makes me so proud, they amaze me with everything they do. They deserve everything they have and more.
Two years ago, five boys separately went to the X Factor to follow their dreams, and look at them now.
