If they became vampires, They would never die. So if you were to end up with one of them, They'd have to slowly watch you age until you die which to anybody it would be unbearable. They'd have to out age everybody to the point where nobody knows who they are and all of their family, friends and anything else eventually will disappear and they will be left with nothing.
