Why do people think Barbie is a bad rolemodel??

Me either.
I grew up watching her movies & I think she's a great rolemodel. Too bad all the new movies suck. They completely changed her look, voice, everything. I feel bad for little kids

Personally, I would never give my child Barbies.

I grew up watching Barbie movies, I grew up with Barbie as a role model. She teaches you to be kind to others, think about others feelings, and be true to yourself. It's not about her body or her looks, it's about her personality. You don't need to look a certain way to be a good person, you can be beautiful, smart, and a great person. She is an amazing rolemodel and I can't wait to have a daughter and show her Barbie movies.

I loved Barbie when I was little, and still do. Barbie movies are my guilty pleasure ^.^

Not everyone focuses on being a good person anymore, sadly. Most girls are worried about their bodies. It doesn't matter to them if they had a good personality or not, they just want the perfect body. See, Barbie is perfect in general. She's kind, sweet, beautiful and SKINNY. Most girls at a young age already fit the personality, but they don't always have the body. so yeah girls just want to be skinny. i personally like don't care as long as i'm healthy.
