-kun
Example: Haru-kun
Kun is mostly used toward young men/boys.
-chan
Example: Misa-chan
Chan is considered to be very feminine. It is used among close female friends or family, for the most part. It can be used for younger boys, as in a teasing or friendly manner.
-san
Example: Okami-san
San is proper, and you should use it when you first meet someone to be respectful. It can be used for anyone at anytime.
-sama
Example: Hime-sama
Sama is the formal version of san. It is used when speaking to someone older than you or someone in a higher rank.
